We take a look at DD17 1046 at Lithgow in NSW in 1978 then DD17 1051 is seen hauling tours from Redbank to Shorncliffe with trips around the Exhibition loop.

The loco known as “The Boot” is seen hauling a wooden passenger coach on the 600v electrified Gibson Island branch and Rail Motor 55, takes a tour to Woolloongabba, where we also see the final passenger train on the branch, plus movements around the yard.

The inaugural tilt train services to and from Rockhampton are seen before diesels at Eagle Junction.

Steam hauled passenger services, and steam shunting takes place at Toowoomba then C17s double heading between Pittsworth and Wyreema with a train from Milmerran.

Filled with Numerous classes of rail motors, locomotives and closed lines, this compilation continues with more scenes at the Toowoomba Roundhouse, steam action to Wallangarra, Gympie and on the Newstead Branch.
